Ali Al Shehabi was born in Jidhafs, Bahrain in 1994 and grew up in Dubai for most of his life. In the summer of 2016, he began to experiment with photography using his mother’s analog cameras & decided to move to Tokyo, Japan to do a diploma in mixed media. Ali then moved to Bahrain for the first time in 2020 where it shaped his practice in photography and visual arts. Ali’s work has been exhibited in multiple galleries and publications from around the world such as New York, Tokyo, Rotterdam, Saudi Arabia, UAE and more.
